I feel like this one should've started with "Dear Amanda" 😂 thank you again for all your insight! I've always found MOps to be a particularly "island-like" function because we're usually very small or one person teams. Reading all of your experiences going from mops and expanding into the ai space reminds me there are others who are learning and sometimes struggling with the same things I do. We're only islands if we let ourselves be.

Haha! I’m glad you found this useful 😀 and yes, i’m finding that it starts with a lone or few people at an org that are naturally curious, and find ways to implement these things, or at least try and experiment! but start with one use case, prove it out, and you’ll be approached to do more.

Wanted to circle back to give you an update hopefully as some motivation to keep going! I've officially been approved to start development on my first set of agents at work 😁 thank you again for all your great posts and giving me the confidence to do it!

Thank you for sharing, Lily. Your insight on where AI is most effective really resonated with me. It’s actually something thats been a challenge with lately. I realized I was trying to force the tool to fit the problem rather than leading with the problem itself. Your point that 'deterministic work belongs in deterministic workflows, while synthesis and intelligence are where AI adds the most value'...well said. Great read. Thanks again.
